Our teaching-learning activities for Grades I-XI are always focused on energizing and motivating students to become actively engaged in and committed to the well-planned learning process.

We plan our teaching-learning activities to deliver our methods to the students to meet the objectives set by the curriculum designed by the Curriculum Development Centre as well as the objectives of the subjects taught. We always intend to shape our students to be competent with the necessary 21st-century skills before they become ready to start university-level education. Our efforts are concentrated to prepare the students in time to face the Basic Level and Secondary Level Examinations for the respective classes. For Grade XI and XII, the teaching-learning activities are planned and delivered to enable them to face the challenges and demands of the global market after completing their school-level education while preparing them to face the National Examination Board’s annual exams in Grade XII.

What are we doing to fulfill the objectives?

We work on a plan for a series of lessons that involves knowing the students and their prior learning, what it means to progress through the curriculum, and finding the best resources and activities to help students learn.

Our educational goals and objectives provide a sense of mission and purpose in our educators. Our priority is always in remaining aware of our mission and purpose in teaching an area of content that helps us to be able to inspire our students to learn effectively. We provide ample resources, support, and training to our educators to articulate teaching and learning goal that conveys to our learners, our sense of purpose, from which they can make a commitment to learning. Our plans are always expressed from the learners’ point of view and we always enter our classes with the most important question “Why am I teaching this?

As per the need of the curriculum, our teaching-learning activities include:

  • Verbal descriptions of graphical representations and pictures like, tactile models, block paintings, pictures (labeled and captioned) printing, posters, flashcards, and audiovisual materials (films and videos) considering the specific requirements of students as well as the subjects.
